Mission Statement
Through prayer, praise,
and the grace of God,
we will minister to
each other and to our community with Christ’s love and acceptance.
Purpose
We exist as a church to uphold God’s standards for righteous
living and teach Biblical truth, while demonstrating the love
of Christ.
About Us
At Heritage, we take a progressive approach to ministry. God has brought together a group of people who are friendly and focused on doing what is right according to God’s inspired word—the Bible. Our praise-filled worship has a contemporary flair, where our ministers/teachers deliver positive, practical messages that uplift, convict and reflect Christ’s glory. Basically, we strive to encounter God in a fresh and spiritual way as brothers and sisters who deeply love their Lord.
In essential beliefs—we have unity.
“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called
to one hope when you were called—one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians
4:4-6
In non-essential beliefs—we have freedom.
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable
matters…Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To
his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is
able to make him stand…so then, each of us will give an account
of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep
between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself
by what he approves.” Romans 14:1,4,12,22
In all our beliefs—we show love.
“If I have a gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and
all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have
not love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2
As a church, we are committed to the person of Jesus Christ, and we base our teaching upon God’s revealed word, the Bible. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive and lead them, and that they grow in their relationship with Him.
We seek to provide regular teaching and preaching of the Bible, meaningful times of worship, opportunities for fellowship, prayer, outreach, and numerous other ministries for people of all ages. We believe that Heritage can provide a place for ministry for every person who longs to be a servant of God. Life gains meaning when we find out God’s will and then begin to take steps to accomplish it in our relationships.
