Ministries and Outreach

At Heritage, we utilize everyone’s physical and spiritual gifts to build a community of believers focused on our purpose—serving God. Ministry leaders serve for one year with the support of a deacon who oversees the ministry. Divided into four areas, our ministries support the family, support the community, support evangelism and support our operations.

Annual outreach events include but are not limited to:
Easter Service and Easter Egg Hunt
 Vacation Bible School
 Trunk or Treating
 Santa’s Workshop
 Christmas Service

The leadership at Heritage believe God’s desire is to meet the needs of His people first and then to all people. Through this ministry we hope and pray that God’s will is done and Christ’s love is shown to those in need. The benevolence ministry currently has two specific benevolence missions:

Internal member benevolence ministry (also called the Acts 2:44 fund) to meet the need of members of the congregation

External (non-member) benevolence ministry (three mile radius from church to serve those in the general vicinity of the church, though we are flexible)
